Founder of QBC in 2001 and co-founder of the Lee Stafford haircare brand which launched in September 2001
Has been involved in cosmetics and toiletries industry since 1974 when he joined Beecham Group which became SmithKlineBeecham and eventually GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)
Left GSK in 1984 to join Hawaiian Tropic UK as sales manager
Joined Ultra Glow Cosmetics as Sales Director in 1989
Set up Brand Managers to distribute brands in 1991 – brands included Trevor Sorbie, Aussie, Hawaiian Tropic and I Coloniali
Set up QBC in 2001 to launch Lee Stafford haircare range
QBC now operate in over 30 countries worldwide

As Marketing Director for the QBC brands I oversee all of the marketing activity and strategy and I manage the ever expanding marketing team. I have been with QBC for about 9 years! Time flies when you are having fun! We work on so many brands and projects that every day is still different! Before QBC I spent three years with a toiletries company and a year in PR in the car industry (I definitely prefer girlie products like shampoo!). My favourite colour is pink and I am a little obsessed with foil blocking!

Operations Director

My name is Mannon and I am the Operations Director. I have been with the company for 12 years and come from an administrative background. My role is very varied from overseeing the admin department to running the office and ensuring we produce and have enough stock for all of our customers. I love listening to music, fast cars and of course holidaying in the sun!

Financial Controller

Well, what can I say about being a Financial Controller that will not make your eyes glaze over immediately? So I’ll just say it really quickly:

In order to do this I studied for years and years (and years) to qualify as an ACCA accountant. Totes worth it!

Sales Director

What I do as ‘Head of International Sales’ involves the management and development of our pre-existing markets. I do also actively research and study new emerging markets, and will often travel away to conduct business and to attend; trade shows, T and I missions and for new market launch events. The management of our pre-existing accounts as well as entry into new high growth markets is key, and will allow us to continue with our export expansion plans and to build on our international success. I have throughout my 12 year career held many sales and customer liaison positions. Previously working within the motor industry for JLR, during my 9 years working with this company I was lucky enough to work in sales, technical support and as a customer liaison.

Export Sales Executive

Hi my name is Edward. I am the “Export Sales Executive” for QBC. I Come from an Accounting and Financial education background but have held many sales positions due to the fact that I enjoy supporting my clients and helping them reach their targets. My job comes with variation but what I do is support my export sales manager to maintain and develop our current export markets while also researching new markets for export business opportunities. I also travel abroad to attend trade shows and to conduct business with clients. My goal is to build on the ongoing success of QBC by setting up new international platforms.

Tasha

Sales Administration Manager

Hi I’m Natasha, better known in the office as Tasha. My job role within QBC is Sales Administration manager. My role on a daily basis includes looking after UK and Export customers, liaising with the warehouse to make sure all orders are packed correctly, assisting with export certification for the different countries when needed and being the main contact for Boots in the UK. I work closely with Mannon, our operations director, on production orders for stock and stock take. The beauty industry is a big passion of mine as I’m also a trained beauty technician. I enjoying spending my free time exploring the world of beauty and also spending way too much time shopping! If I could describe myself in three words I would describe myself as friendly, loyal and approachable.

Accounts Assistant

Hi, I’m Becky and I’m the Accounts Assistant here at QBC, I joined in April 2013. I work very closely with Ali, the Financial Controller to ensure all the aspects of accounting within the company are accurate. I primarily manage the purchase ledger but I get involved with other accounting duties too. Accounts might sound boring but I enjoy crunching numbers and making everything balance. I am currently part way through my AAT studies. I really enjoy working within the beauty industry.

Office/Administration Assistant

Hi, I’m Claire. I joined QBC in June 2016 and already it feels like home. My role is Office / Administration Assistant and I work closely with Tasha, Sales Administration Manager and Mannon, the Operations Director. My role includes ensuring that orders are placed for our UK and Export customers as well as dealing with the invoices. Other parts of my role include; ensuring courier requests are handled and ensuring our stock room is kept nice and full. I am loving working within the Beauty Industry.

Brand Manager

I joined QBC in September 2012 following a degree in BA Hons Communication Studies and some extensive marketing experience within the Broadcasting and FMCG sector. For nearly two years at QBC, I focused on the launch of an entirely new brand SALON SCIENCE® which uses rare plant extracts to enhance results in haircare. In July 2014, 18 products were successfully launched into Boots stores nationwide. Having the opportunity to build a revolutionary brand from scratch, the responsibility to manage ground-breaking product development and the pleasure of being able to oversee this through to launch has filled me with utter pride. Now I am filled with excitement at the new product development possibilities whilst also working on the brand evolution.

Brand Manager

I'm Brand Manager for Lee Stafford and The Great British Grooming Co.™, my job is to create and develop beauty products that innovate, and excite our customers. I work closely with the Marketing Director and other Product Managers to maximise our brands awareness. My role focuses on driving NPD forward from concept to shelf, keeping up to date with cosmetic regulations and liaising with licensees. I have a BA in media and fashion styling with a huge passion for the cosmetics industry.

Michaela

Marketing Communications Manager

I’m Michaela, the Product Marketing Manager. I work closely with the Marketing Director and Product Managers to successfully market the Lee Stafford and The Great British Grooming Co.™ brands. I’m responsible for brand communications and the creation and implementation of the digital marketing strategy. At QBC no two days are the same and I love working with such an enthusiastic and creative team. Overall I would describe myself as a self-confessed beauty addict and secret IT nerd.

Product Manager

I joined QBC in January 2014 following a degree in French & Spanish and a background in translation & project management. I am now delighted to be working within the marketing department at QBC, combining my passion for beauty products with a role with so many different aspects! In my role I work across the brands developing new products, managing social media, merchandising & assisting in all other aspects of driving the brands forward! I love the fast pace and the fact no two days are the same with new projects and ventures always presenting themselves! It’s a great place to work!

I Joined QBC in October. After studying for my BA in Theatre Studies I realised I enjoyed marketing much more than I wanted to be on stage. The opportunity to work for QBC meant I could combine marketing with my love of Pink and all things Beauty related. My job title is Marketing Assistant but day to day I get to talk to everyone from the Marketing Team, Product managers, PR and Accounts. It’s an exciting place to work as every day is different. I now have an excuse to be glued to my Instagram, checking out all the latest beauty news, and dreaming about being a mermaid.

Sales and Marketing Assistant

I joined QBC in October 2016 as Sales and Marketing Assistant. My role involves supporting the marketing team with a retailer and customer focus. There’s a lot of variety in my day to day work, and I love being able to get involved in so many aspects of marketing. After finishing my degree in Spanish and Business I worked in software and finance. Working here makes a great change as I’m in an industry where I have a genuine interest and really enjoy what I do.

Head of PR and Communications

As the Head of PR at The Quantum Beauty Company, it is safe to say that I live and breathe all things beauty!
With over ten years’ experience within the beauty sector, I am responsible for 360 planning of progressive media strategies. Dynamic and effective brand visibility is key within our department, particularly within a global media landscape that is continually evolving.
The PR team have an extensive network of strong media contacts across national, consumer and online/digital media which allows us to strategically place features and gain coverage for our brands.
We work directly and in parallel with in-house marketing and sales divisions to fully maximise product launches and achieve strategic objectives. Specialist areas include : media relations, strategic planning, brand development, copywriting, event planning, creative consultancy and launching new brands to market.

PR & Communications Manager

My career started out within some of the UK's top magazine titles such as Glamour, Grazia,Heat and Look magazine as a Graphic Designer, designing the beauty and fashion pages.
I then crossed over from journalism to Communications at DMK skincare before landing here at QBC.
My passion is beauty and haircare and I love combining my personal passion with my job!
I work alongside my Head Of Department Amy Miles where we raise the visibility of our brands in the media by liaising with the press and executing a fully integrated Communications strategy.
I spend most of my time running through the office or meeting many of London’s top journalists from our extensive network of contacts. We have gained coverage across some huge titles in the media and there is nothing like the feeling of seeing your hard work go to print! Out of work you can find my glued to my emails, meditating on my yoga mat!

PR & Communications Assistant

I joined QBC in July 2016 for a year in industry placement as part of my Business Management degree. In my role I work alongside the Head of Department as well as the PR & Communications Manager to help and support the raising of brand awareness in the media. It was a delight to find a placement role where I can combine a love for beauty products with my job!
